31a "Fionna and Cake"

Based on an idea by Adventure Time crew member, Natasha Allegri, to have an episode with all gender-switched characters. In the televised episode, Ice Queen (counterpart of Ice King) intrudes into the palace of the Candy Kingdom and tries to kidnap Prince Gumball (Princess Bubblegum), who was preparing a ball with the help of Fionna the human girl (Finn the human boy) and Cake the female cat (Jake the male dog). After Fionna rescues what later turns out to be the Ice Queen disguised as Prince Gumball, they go on a date and ride Lord Monochromicorn (Lady Rainicorn). Ice Queen gives Fionna a crystal sword as a gift, but it is actually part of a booby trap, and during the ball, she tries to lure her into Prince Gumball's private room as part of a plan to kill her. However, the plan fails and Fionna easily rescues the real Prince. Later during the finale, the entire story turns out to be a "fan fiction" written by Ice King that Finn and Jake, kidnapped and trapped in a block of ice, were forced to listen to and review.
